Dimsum made an impact on the literary scene in Asia when Volume One was published in 1999. That first volume was followed by eleven more before Dimsum became the Asia Literary Review, which went on to publish a further thirty-six issues.
Between them, the two magazines published a total of forty-eight issues in the twenty years between 1999 and 2019. That body of work is in the process of being collected here, before moving to a permanent home.
For the moment, we include covers and contents pages for the twelve volumes of Dimsum, with article titles and contributors listed for each.
When the scanning's done, digital copies of Dimsum will be added to the collection. There will also be more about both publications and the people who made them possible and kept them going, and further material from the ALR's Web archive.
