Synopsis – All The Way To Hell by Stéphane Marchand In the near future, a revolutionary neural technology becomes the weapon of choice for a military conspiracy with global ramifications. The plot opens with two parallel investigations. Lieutenant Yann Braque is investigating the inexplicable death of a woman whose skull exploded during an online sex game. The forensic pathologist discovers a brain tumor containing graphene, a high-tech material. Braque then learns of the disappearance of a scientist who was working for the multinational Vivalia on a secret project involving brain manipulation called ‘Cognitum’. He finds her body in an abandoned hangar, after which her partner commits suicide. At the same time, Captain Maxime Barelli of the French special forces, traumatised by a mission in Afghanistan during which she was forced to kill her lover, is sent to Syria. There, she discovers that jihadists are developing a neurochemical drug with the aim of carrying out attacks in Europe. B
