September - October 2024 Year XXVI - N. 5 ASC International Communications – General Administration - Via Maria De Mattias, 10 - 00183 Roma www.adoratrici-asc.org redazioneasc@adoratrici-asc.org Adoratrici del Sangue di Cristo/Adorers of the Blood of Christ OPEN GAZE In reading this issue’s articles I was quite struck by how life flows through the years through all those wishing to love and serve their neighbor. Years pass, congregations develop, reach their zenith and then, of course, diminish and some move toward their demise. But is it really like that? Do they just disappear? Does everything end with the last member? The experience of the Franciscan Sisters of Mary tells us something different. There is no end, but a transformation into something unprecedented that requires courage and the ability to let go of a part of oneself. And how could it be anything else? Don’t we all follow Jesus who let go of so much of himself, even to the point of renouncing his divine election in order
