This layout is quite unique — it’s the longest of the season and the average speed is very high. There are long straights where bikes reach nearly 340 km/h, and high-speed corner sequences that put a lot of stress on the rear tire. Grip levels are average, the asphalt (resurfaced in 2019) is not very abrasive, and wear is easy to manage, even though the braking zones are very demanding for the tires. The unknown factor is the amount of sunshine, temperatures, and possible rainfall we may experience. Last year, the ground temperature reached 43°C in early August — an unlikely scenario in late May. Nevertheless, we’re not concerned, as our tires are very versatile and the data collected here over the years helped us define a package suited for all conditions, both for this track and the season overall.
