“Misano is a circuit we know very well, as it is used year-round for private testing. We therefore have a wealth of data, which allows us to arrive with a perfectly tailored tire allocation. We decided to adopt the same approach as on other recent circuits such as Balaton and Barcelona: a symmetrical Soft and Medium at the front, and a Hard combining the stiffest casing with the Medium compound. This choice provides the ideal balance between consistency, stability, and rider feedback.
At the rear, we stick with the Soft and Medium specifications that proved highly satisfactory last year. They are asymmetrical, with a reinforced right shoulder, essential at Misano given its ten right-hand corners. This circuit is less severe on tires than Barcelona: the asphalt offers better natural grip, top speed and average speeds are lower, and there is no elevation.
