Our cover star for this issue is the wonderful Midge Ure, who spoke to Sean Graham at great length about his life, his music, his outlook and the ups and downs of his career. Sean went to see him live at The Ferry, and his review is also in this issue.
Our second major feature in this issue is a storming interview with the brilliant Ranking Roger, a piece which is amongst my favourites of all those I've worked on in this magazine so far. Roger's passion, his social conscience and his decency, shine through in every word. This is an extraordinary man, who bore witness to an extraordinary time and was one of its genuine voices. In an industry full of egos it is astounding to come across someone like him.
We have a superb debut feature from Laura Scott, who writers for us about a wonderful event for the Clutha. After featuring The Clutha on the cover last issue, it was truly excellent to have such an inspiring article in this one.
