In years to come, if you're ever in Glasgow, and you ask people where they were on the night of 29 November 2013, the chances are very good that they'll be able to tell you in an instant. The dreadful events of that night will be with this city forever, and everyone at Amped Up Scotland was in agreement that we would have to write about it, but that we should let a period of time pass before we commented on the tragedy at the Clutha.
In that time, the Scottish music scene has rallied round in amazing ways, to honour those who died and those who tried to save them, and to remember the iconic venue where this awful event took place. It is to the credit of each and every person who has organised a night, recorded a song or simply bought a CD. You are the reason I love this city, this country, this scene.
We have decided to pay our own small tribute, for what it's worth, in the pages of this issue.
