Newsletter Fall 2019 DuPage County’s Spooky Tales Anything regarding the supernatural or superstitious should be taken with a grain of salt, and with full recognition that the people being discussed were often real and died tragically. But in the spirit of Halloween, and a long tradition of ghost stories, here are a few of DuPage County’s own spooky tales. Downers Grove’s Main Street Cemetery, Downers Grove c. 1970.
