Sunflower Award Program This exciting summer garden program is intended for families to get outside and enjoy gardening together. The primary gardener must be under the age of eighteen. Your garden can be a fairy garden, container garden, in raised beds, or in the ground. A total of five Sunflower Awards will be given for various categories as well as honorable mentions. There is no fee to participate. Sunflower Award Packets Sunflower Award packets will be available at the Belvidere Recreation Center (BRC) beginning May 4, 2026 or online at waukeganparks.org/contests.
