PRE-ARRIVAL STEPS Citizens from the EU, the EEA 1 or Switzerland You do not need to apply for a student visa to enter Spain. If you´re studying in Spain for a period more than 3 months, you must sign on to the Central Register of Foreign Citizens (Registro Central de Extranjeros). You will be given a Green Card and NIE (Foreign Identity Number). You will receive more information during your induction regarding the process.
