Kevin Longmuir, known as Nobby by friends and family, suffered a broken hand and shoulder and traumatic injuries to his leg after crashing his moped on the A41 on June 5. After being airlifted to hospital, surgeons had to amputate Nobby’s leg below the knee in order to save his life. The 48-year-old, who is a driver’s mate at Aylesbury distribution company, Dayla Drinks, is well-known in the town, having been a senior ball boy at Berkhamsted FC for several years.
