He has been released under investigation. Detective Inspector Victoria Coleman, from the Sexual Offences Team, said: “I would like to remind the public that we take reports of rape very seriously and we are continuing to carry out extensive enquiries in relation to this report.” The victim, in her twenties, was attacked at an address close to Garston railway station on September 1.
