MAY 2021, ISSUE 65 FREE NEGLECTED 28 DAYS RESIDENTS GO WITHOUT BATHS Residents at a care home in Hemel Hempstead went 28 days without a bath, a report revealed. Five residents at The Lodge Care Home did not have a bath from January 21 to February 17 this year, according to a recent report by the Care Quality Commission (CQC). At the time of the CQC’s inspection, The Lodge had 34 residents using its services, but the home did not have enough staff to provide sufficient care.
