Shaan, passed the grading for his yellow tag at the Total TKD Taekwon-Do, at the age of just five. His parents said they were very proud of his achievement. His mum, Sonal, also a TKD member, enrolled Shaan in the class at the age of three, as the sport focuses a lot on discipline and respect. She said: “Shaan is really boisterous and full of energy. Studies have shown martial arts can help kids at a very young age improve coordination, flexibility and strength. We wanted to ensure all this energy is channelled positively...
