Mike West, 72, pictured left alongside Mr Graham Howgate, General Secretary of the BFSA, has received an award for his commitment to the fire service, as he has dedicated most of his life to saving lives across the country. In 1970, Mike became a firefighter at Garston Fire Station and since then he has not looked back.
