commemorate this landmark year, the
Fashion & Lace Museum proposes
to take a new look at the designer’s
work and life, which began in Brussels,
Belgium, where she was born.
Far from a retrospective, Woman Before
Fashion. Diane von Furstenberg seeks
rather to chronicle, in an intimate and
novel manner, the outstanding life
of a “little Belgian exile”, an honorary
citizen of the City of Brussels since 2018.
