THE BALKANS Egis has been present in the Western Balkans since the 90’s working on diverse IFIs funded projects in the individual countries or regionally combining two or more countries depending on projects in the fields of transport including ports and inland waterways, water, environment, energy, rural development and institutional development. There have accumulated more than 130 projects in the region spanning from pre-feasibility studies to Supervision of Works and technical assistance. In 2012 a regional subsidiary Egis d.o.o. Belgrade was established and serves as a hub for the Western Balkans regaion. It is supported by satellite branch offices in Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo. Through its long standing presence in the Western Balkans Egis has established a large network of partner companies, subcontracting companies and trusted freelance experts from the region that can be mobilized as needed.
