In front of a large crowd, Austrian skier Vincent Kriechmayr claimed victory in the penultimate downhill race of the season. He finished ahead of Italy’s Giovanni Franzoni, second by 0.09 seconds, and Switzerland’s Marco Odermatt, third by 0.31 seconds. With this new podium finish, the Swiss star secured both the downhill crystal globe and the overall World Cup title, further confirming his dominance on the international circuit. It marks his fifth consecutive overall title.
