Spring Studio. Today Mark is to be photographed for the inside artwork of his next book A Life Of Parties which may (or may not) be published as a special double edition in some territories. His publishers also want to stockpile some images which can be used in the press for the book’s publication. The photographer is called Alasdair who previously photographed Mark last year for a German music magazine. Mark (and Jay) arrive promptly at the designated mid-morning start time, just before a plate of freshly cooked scrambled eggs is carried in, followed by the other components of a full English breakfast. 'Oh my God,' Mark exclaims, 'sausages have appeared.' As we all eat, there’s a discussion on last night’s show which Mark attended waiting backstage while Jay was on stage. Jay says that his taxi driver got lost on the way here but that he was able to direct him using the real-time map on his iPhone. He seems to have found the whole experience quite invigorating.
