The Day of All Beginnings is a sensual portrait story created during the first session I photographed in a studio that would later become mine for the next three years. At the time, it was simply a borrowed space with good light, white walls and enough freedom to experiment. There were no familiar corners, no favourite setups and no routines yet. Every decision had to be made from scratch. The session itself was sensual, but the story reaches beyond sensual portraiture. It became the first chapter of a space that would later hold many different women, ideas, lighting setups and photographs. Looking back, these images feel different now.
