After failed migration attempts, lost savings, visa refusals, and painful returns, he carries not only disappointment but also the expectations of a family that associates migration with success.
Along The Gambia’s Atlantic coast, Buba meets Helga Schneider, an older German woman seeking warmth, companionship, and relief from her own loneliness.
