ACTIVE BREAKS FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS: REVITALIZING THE UTP COMMUNITY 1. INTRODUCTION This proposal promotes physical activity and well-being within the UTP community. It focuses on implementing short, dynamic active breaks during long lecture hours to reduce stress and improve students' focus. Academic life can be highly demanding, and spending too much time sitting affects both body and mind. 2. TARGET AUDIENCE This initiative is specially designed for UTP students, professors, and academic staff who spend more than three hours a day inside classrooms or laboratories. 3. GENERAL OBJECTIVE To establish a daily routine of active breaks in UTP classrooms to enhance physical health, reduce sedentary behavior, and boost mental clarity among students. 4.
