The sun was shining, the air was filled with sunscreen and sea spray scents… holidays were so nice … but actually.. for the CAMAC project these last three months didn’t feel like holidays. At all. I invite you to read the brilliant pieces written by CAMAC’s fabulous team, to witness how hard they worked to make progress on every Work Package. Progress that would not have been possible without you, dear stakeholders and curious readers. I am also excited to announce two highlights to come (it is time to take your pen and your agenda) : We’ll open the event with a pre-conference workshop called “Initiatives Aimed at Addressing Marine Megafauna Interactions in Wider Caribbean Fisheries”; which has been thought to open the conversation about by-catch and illegal fishing in the region and identify collaborative roadmaps to harmonize conservation objectives with sustainable local fishin
