TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS SERIOUS CRASHES WORRY CITIZENS IN TUNGURAHUA Several traffic accidents have recently been reported in Tungurahua, especially near Ambato, Pelileo, and Guaranda. It is believed that dangerous driving and heavy traffic caused some of these accidents. Two people were reported to be injured after a crash on Indoamérica Avenue in Ambato during construction work in the area. On the Ambato–Guaranda road, three people were reported to have died and four others were injured after a bus and a car collided. Another accident on the Pelileo–Baños road is said to have left one person dead and two injured.
