Espresso Martini Ingredients 50 ml of Vodka 20 ml of Coffee Liqueur Espresso Coffee 5 to 10 ml of Sugar Syrup Recipe Chill the glass Place ice in your martini or coupe glass so it stays nice and cold while you prepare the drink. Assemble the ingredients In a cocktail shaker, add the vodka, coffee liqueur, sugar syrup, and finally, the espresso. Add ice and shake Fill the shaker with plenty of ice. Close tightly and shake vigorously for about 20 to 30 seconds. This step is what creates the famous creamy foam (through the natural oils of the coffee combined with the air). Serve Discard the ice from the bowl. Double strain (passing through the shaker filter and a fine-mesh sieve) the bowl, ensuring that the ice chunks remain behind and only the liquid and liquid foam pass through. Garnish Gently place the 3 coffee beans on top of the foam. They will float. Serve immediately!
