This project consists of the editorial design of a commemorative magazine marking the 100 year anniversary of the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca. The focus was placed entirely on the visual and structural dimension of the publication.
The magazine is built on a clear and flexible grid system, allowing for a controlled rhythm across spreads. Generous white space, asymmetric compositions, and carefully balanced margins contribute to a contemporary and refined visual language. The typographic system relies on strong hierarchy and contrast, distinguishing between archival references, institutional information, and narrative content while maintaining overall coherence.
A key aspect of the project is the dialogue between historical material and present-day graphic treatment.
