ITS BEST NEW BREEDS, newcomers and new opportunities will mark this year’s Tablelands Better Beef Open Day. The 14 properties throwing open their gates to the public, including local, state, interstate and international cattle breeders, on Sunday are bringing something fresh to the table. Four studs are making their debut at the event, three new breeds are being introduced, and buyers and sellers are keen to make the most of a predicted boom in the Australian beef industry over the coming years. n See story and photos, Page 7
