Figured I’d share this because I was looking forever for cheap neoprene socks for fly fishing that didn’t suck. I honestly didn’t wanna pay $40+ for brand-name ones just to stand in a freezing river for a couple weekends. So I took a shot on these 3mm neoprene socks I found on Temu. They’re like $10 or less most days. Not gonna lie, I was skeptical. But for the price they’re solid: ● Pretty thick (3mm) so my feet didn’t freeze when wet-wading last October ● Seem actually waterproof, at least they kept the cold water out when I was standing in shin-deep pools ● Super squishy neoprene feel, fit in my wading boots fine ● Stitching didn’t blow out after a couple trips over rocks I mostly fish small streams, nothing too crazy. But if you’re on a budget or new to fly fishing and don’t wanna drop $$$ on gear, these are honestly good enough. I wouldn't say they’re bombproof—if you’re doing hardcore winter wading maybe pay up.
