Ross Parker / Hugh Charles / Angela Anuforo Sung by Vera Lynn Not long after I was made redundant from Disability West Midlands in 2007 I began to explore some of the new opportunities I have previously spoken about at length in preceding chapters, some were income generating but most were on a voluntary basis. The activities with Ray Gormley around the recording of oral history began to emerge as well as the writing and publishing of stories on blogs, such as Spaghetti Gazette. I have previously journaled my years at secondary school, concluding that my six years at KEFW were defined by a cumulative feeling of alienation in the King Edward’s grammar school culture.
