THE PORCELAIN HOUSE From 26 September 2026 to 9 May 2027, the Royal Domain and Museum of Mariemont presents The Porcelain House, an exhibition inviting visitors to step inside Brussels’ last porcelain manufactory and explore its various spaces, from shop window to workshops, passing through decision-making rooms where objects were imagined, produced and sold. As they move through the exhibition, visitors follow the women and men who brought this factory to life and discover, through their stories, gestures and work, nearly two centuries of a practice that is at once industrial, social and profoundly human. * The exhibition narrative is rooted in a tangible reality: that of a Brussels factory founded in 1830 which, through successive transformations, became the Demeuldre-Coché manufactory and accompanied nearly two centuries of history without interruption until its closure in 2020.
