Case Study: Waste Management in Tunisia Veolia Field Services (VFS) managed an oil drilling waste management project for a major multi-energy company in Zarzis, Tunisia. The goal: export waste from the multi-energy company in Zarzis Port to Veolia's disposal site at Spur Environment, Rognac, France. Waste Management Overview: ~13 tons of waste in 200L drums removed 1 x 20ft shipping container filled Waste: Coolant fluid from oil drilling operations Scope of work for VFS: ● During the initial inspection, 2 drums were found to be leaking and were repacked immediately. ● After inspection was completed, all other drums were certified for safe transport and palletised. ● Loaded waste into sea shipping container, filling voids and securing packages ● Completed paperwork for Non-Dangerous cargo export.
