Proaño Molina Diego Msc Estudiante: Aymacaña Casa Mateo Ariel Departamento de Ciencias Exactas Física, Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas ESPE Extensión Latacunga Latacunga-Ecuador E-mail: doproanio@espe.edu.ec; maaymacana@espe.edu.ec Recibido el 13 de Diciembre: aceptado el 13 de Diciembre Abstract The parabolic shot, also known as oblique shot, consists of throwing a body with a speed that forms an angle α with the horizontal. This shot is typical of projectiles. On the x axis the body moves at a constant speed (m.r.u) and with a constant acceleration caused by gravity. When you launch a projectile it will shoot through the air forming an arc until it falls back to the ground. As you can see, its trajectory is not straight, nor circular, much less curvilinear. Precisely, this curve is called a parabola and is characterized by having an angle of departure, an angle of arrival and a “focal axis”, which is a line t
