Beyond the commodification of nature? Intrinsic value in a world of autonomous technologies. Sustainability The advent of autonomous technologies, such as robotics and artificial intelligence, has raised important questions about our relationship with nature and the value we assign to it. In their article "Beyond the commodification of nature? Intrinsic value in a world of autonomous technologies," Chris Sandbrook, Janet A. Fisher, and George Holmes argue that as these technologies become more integrated into society, there is a need to re-evaluate our relationship with nature and recognize its intrinsic value.
