April 2023 New obligatory declaration for property owners To be completed before 30 June 2023 Who should be concerned? All property owners (individuals, legal entities, private persons or companies, French or foreign, resident or non-resident) everybody must make this declaration. When should we make this declaration? The declaration must be made before 30 June 2023. Thereafter, only a change of situation will require a new declaration. How do I make my declaration? This declaration must be made via the online service ‘Gérer mes biens immobiliers’ (Manage my properties) from the secure area on the government website www.impots.gouv.fr. Owners must indicate for each of their properties the purpose for which they occupy them. If they do not occupy a property themselves, they must supply the identity of the occupants and the period of occupation (situation on 1 January 2023).
