He is the lead singer, pianist and guitarist of the band Coldplay. Chris was born on March 2nd, 1977, in Exeter, England. His father was an accountant and his mother was a music teacher. He’s got four siblings. He formed his first band at preparatory school. When he was at University College in London, he met guitar player Johnny Buckland, bass player Guy Berryman and drummer Will Champion. In 1998 they formed the band Coldplay. Coldplay released their debut album Parachutes in 2000. It was a huge success and some songs were number 1 in the UK charts.
