This collection brings together books, selected papers, preprints, research notes, educational materials, and numerical studies reflecting more than five decades of research in seismic exploration.
The works cover a broad range of topics, including seismic imaging, wave-field analysis, kinematic and dynamic inverse problems, velocity estimation, seismic stratigraphy, multifocusing, spectral methods, attenuation and dispersion, viscoelastic and viscoacoustic wave propagation, and reconstruction of elastic and rheological parameters of the medium.
Particular attention is given to inverse problems based directly on the seismic wave equation, including methods for recovering elastic parameters and stress-relaxation time from internal seismic wave fields.
The collection includes both earlier publications and recent studies, together with model calculations, numerical experiments, and related open research materials.
