The book briefly presents the professional training course "Communicating with disabled people - PECS -
Makaton", held during
June 12-17, 2017, attended by 8 teachers from the School Center for Inclusive Education No. 1 Oradea. The mentioned course was part of the mobility project in the field of school education Erasmus+ KA1 "European training for psychologists" and was organized by the "Evropei Ihnilates" Association
in Volos, Greece.
In the first part of the paper we find a synthesis of the PECS method with multiple concrete examples
implementation and characteristic techniques.
During the second part we are introduced to the upcoming MAKATON program
also in support of people who encounter difficulties in communication.
In the third part of the brochure we are presented with SOCIAL STORIES, intended to facilitate
the development of behavioral skills and the strengthening of self-esteem in children with disorders of
the autistic spectrum and in the last part of the brochu
