This document presents an analysis of educational evaluation from a competency-based approach. It develops a diagnosis of a pedagogical situation, identifying the main difficulties in the evaluation process and proposing improvement strategies aimed at strengthening teaching and learning.
Additionally, evaluation strategies and instruments are presented, such as case studies, project-based learning, evidence portfolios, rubrics, and checklists, with the purpose of promoting a more comprehensive, continuous, and formative evaluation process.
The main objective is to reflect on the importance of a well-planned evaluation process that contributes to improving teaching practices and promoting the development of meaningful learning in students.
