UNITED NATIONS The United Nations was founde On October 24, 1945, San Francisco, California, United states Four months after the end of the San Francisco Conference, the United Nations officially came into existence on October 24, 1945, after the Charter was ratified by China, France, the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, the United States. and most of the other signatories. The UN Charter was signed on June 26, 1945 by representatives of the 50 countries that attended the United Nations Conference on International Organization in San Francisco. Poland, which was not represented, later signed it and became one of the original 51 UN member states. The concept of international peace and security in the UN Charter began to develop with the ideas expressed in the Atlantic Charter in August 1941. But two months earlier, in London, a Declaration spoke of the need for global collaboration.
