The article uses the method of calculating synchronous equations of the demand function of tourism in Azerbaijan. The demand function of tourism and the main determinants affecting it have been studied. Although the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic since early 2020 has dealt a serious blow to the tourism industry, it is undoubtedly the most promising area of economic activity in the future. Although the Covid-19 pandemic has limited international ties for some time, such restrictions are expected to be short-lived, and tourism will resume once globalization is in place.
