ARRIVING AT THE SAHARA AND MEETING THE LITTLE PRINCE A beautiful clear blue sky is interrupted by a small plane careening out of the clouds and dives into the glistening water below with a powerful splash. As the waves rise and fall, they slowly blend into the golden sand dunes of the Sahara desert. A speck on the shoreline, his ruined plane in the distance, our Pilot kneels in the wet sand. In front of him are his tools and a limited supply of water in his dented flask. Preparing for the difficult repairs ahead, the Pilot recounts the tale of his boa constrictor drawing as we see the drawing unfold before our very eyes. Beginning with the painstakingly drawn image of the boa constrictor which is mistaken for a hat, and then rather begrudgingly, the insides - so that the grown-ups could understand. His story, however, is disrupted by a young voice - “Please draw me a sheep.” The Pilot leaps to his feet as he sees the Little Prince a short distance ahead of him, making his demands. The
