In the 2026 fall issue of CZECH FILM magazine, we focus on films screened at the Venice and Toronto film festivals. The newest piece in the ongoing series of articles introducing young filmmakers focuses on Veronika Lišková and Petr Hátle. We take a closer look at five feature projects selected for the 2026 Czech Film Springboard industry programme. We explore Diana Cam Van Nguyen's upcoming feature Inbetween Worlds and the two-part historical miniseries Agnes directed by Lenka Wimmerová. In an interview with costume designer Katarína Hollá, we discuss her work on Only Beautiful Things to Look At and other notable Czech films. Lastly, we introduce the production company Silk Films.
