The following year his daughter Susan is born and, two years later, the twins Judith 1593-1594 and Hamnet. He publishes the poems Venus and Adonis and The Rape of Lucrezia, dedicated to Earl Henry Wriothesley of Southampton, his protector. 1597 Her son Hamnet dies. His good financial situation as a company entrepreneur allows him to acquire New-Place, a house in Stratford 1600 Write and release Hamlet 1611 He writes The Tempest, his latest work. He leaves the theater and retires to New-Place, his Stratford home. 1616 He dies in his hometown.
