About Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA) History Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (HKVCA), established on November 12, 1987, is the oldest industry Association in Asia. The Association was formed based on a recommendation in the Working Party of the Hong Kong Association of Banks’ study of venture capital and has been incorporated as a company limited by guarantee. The Association represents Limited Partners, Family Offices, and institutional investors engaged in the venture capital / private equity industry at all levels - from seed, startup, growth, buyouts and restructuring - investing in the Asia- Pacific region.
