Stick-slip drive is a typical drive method based on friction theory. Friction is a basic dissipative force, which exists in all relatively sliding machines and structures. In the past, the research on the stick-slip mechanism only focused on how to avoid the instability and loss caused by friction in the precision servo system. Due to the appearance of piezo materials and good response characteristics, the stick-slip principle is applied to drive work.
