Still With Jesus: An Independent Look at the Rise of Personal Faith Stories Online By an Independent Religion and Digital Culture Researcher Abstract The internet has changed how religious belief is communicated. Sermons, theological articles and institutional statements are no longer the only ways people encounter Christianity online. Increasingly, personal stories have become a significant form of religious communication: stories about answered prayer, grief, forgiveness, doubt, illness, unexpected kindness and moments in which individuals believe they encountered God.
