ABSTRACT
Molla Murad Kharazmi is one of the turkmen poets who
lived in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. His real
name is Murad. The words "Molla", "Banda",
"Kharazmi" were later added to the poet's name. Molla
Murad Kharazmi's epos "Dilaver and Gulesrar" was
written on the basis of love and heroic motives. There are
four copies of the saga. The saga contains fantastic
images. Such epics were widespread in turkmen literature
during the poet's lifetime. In terms of "Dilaver and
Gulasrar", Sheydai's "Gul and Sanuber", Shahbenda's
"Gul-Bulbul", Magrubi's "Seyfalmelek and
Madkhaljamal", Yusif Hodja Bakioglu's "Ray-Chim"
epics are close. In this saga, the poet based the idea that
"love is free and everyone can get married voluntarily."
The writer portrayed the ideal hero with the character of
Dilavar. The writer described all his positive heroes as
intelligent and combative.
