SECOND BIO ESSAY In this second bio essay we decided to use a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug in widespread use, diclofenac, marketed under the trade name of Celebrex. We used 100 neonates instead of 200 like in the first trial as we had enough and, in addition, because it had been reduced the population infected with fungi. As in the previous essay we used different concentrations of the substance that we wanted to investigate: 75 mg/l, 7.5 mg/l, 0.75 mg/l and 0.075 mg/l. We poured 100 ml of solution in each beaker by placing 5 daphnias in each (a total of 100 young individuals). There were 4 replicas of each concentration and a control group (white) without substance to investigate:
