Silver Level This component consists of writing an essay that analyzes a passage whose purpose is to present an argument to persuade an audience. This test, which asks a single question, is optional depending on whether the school the participant wants to study requires it or not, however, it is recommended to take it. The total time to read the passage, the prompt and perform the essay is 50 minutes. Three areas are evaluated: 1. Reading, in which the participant expresses the degree of understanding of the passage. 2. Analysis, in which the participant demonstrates how well he/she analyzes the passage and performed the task of explaining how the author builds his/her argument to persuade an audience. 3. Writing, in which the participant demonstrates the skills to write the essay properly. The evaluation scale for each area mentioned above is from 2to 8.
