It’s no secret that Edmonton’s an incredible tourist destination. But what we don’t always brag about is just how awesome our city is at giving back and/or being the first to make, launch, or champion something. The result? An amazing city where you can go to a café and adopt a shelter cat, purchase a roll of hockey tape that helps support the LGBTQ community, dine at award-winning restaurants that devote funding to food programs, go stargazing at the world’s most technologically advanced planetarium, challenge your strength at Alberta’s largest indoor-bouldering gym—and basically discover the best places to shop, play, and visit—time and time again.
